Curt Johnson
Curt has been teaching the great sport of tennis for over 25 years. He has been headpro/director of tennis at 5 star resorts, clubs and camps across the country, working with over 10,000 adults and juniors. Curt is now looking forward to his 13th season as headpro for New England Tennis Holidays.
Curt still has a passion to play tennis and has had year end rankings of #1 in both singles and doubles in the state of Vermont. Curt is a 6 handicap golfer and avid outdoorsman who loves to hike, rock & ice climb. Photography and movie making are new interests. |
Jon Judge
Jon carried a top ten status in the USTA New England rankings from 1982 to 1991 in singles and doubles. He established the Kennett High School tennis program as a dominant force in New Hampshire High School tennis. During his twenty-eight year coaching career at the school, he led the Eagles to 23 consecutive play-off appearances, winning four state titles, finishing runner-up four times, and winning the Northern Division Championships four times. Many of his players went on to play and star in college tennis programs around the nation. He was inducted into the New Hampshire Coaches Hall of Fame in April of 2007 and elected to the Kennett High School Hall of Fame in September of 2010. His 362 wins rank him third all-time in the State of New Hampshire. He holds USPTR and USRSA certifications.
He has been on staff with the New England Tennis Holidays for more than twenty-five years where his main emphasis has been on group instruction and stroke analysis through the use of video. |
| Mike (Milwaukee Slim) Rocheleau
Mike Rocheleau has been with New England Tennis Holidays since 1989. Mike started playing tennis at Wisconsin Lutheran High School about the time dirt was invented. While attending Milwaukee Tech he played #1 singles for two seasons winning the conference in 1972. As a member of the 1979 5.5 state championship team he played #1 singles and #1 doubles, finishing in a three way tie for first at the Mid-West sectionals. Mike was a ranked singles and doubles player in Wisconsin for more than 10 years and taught tennis in the Greater Milwaukee area from 1975-1987.
After moving to the Mt. Washington Valley in 1987 he began teaching at Cranmore Fitness and has since coached and developed two nationally ranked junior players. He has been a member of the USPTA since 1976. |
| Chris Chaffee
Chris Chaffee played tennis at Fryeburg Academy from 1999 - 2003 and was ranked alternately #1 and #2 in singles. He was named MVP all 4 years of and was also named All Conference Player for 3 consecutive years. He was ranked #1 Boys 18 and under player in the state of Maine in 2002.
Chris went on to play tennis at the University of Southern Maine and won his singles flights in 2005, 2006, and 2007. He was named LEC player of the week in 2004 and 2006. He also contributed to USM winning the Little East Conference Titles in 2005, 2006, and 2007. He continues to play competitive tennis and is a USPTR certified tennis instructor. Chris coaches the Fryeburg Academy Girls Varsity Tennis team. |
Warren Steele

Ross Greene
Ross played tennis at Natick High School from 1997-2000. He was named MIP and MVP during his 3 year varsity run. He was named Bay State League All-Star for his senior season in which he and his doubles partner set the school record for wins in a season.
Ross went on to play tennis at Dickinson College. There he was mainly a doubles specialist. He continues to play competitive tennis through USTA leagues and local tournaments. He has been a USPTA and USPTR certified tennis instructor.

Dave Hullett
Dave played his competitive tennis in his native San Diego before moving to Vermont 16 years ago. Since being here he has served his winter's as Director of Tennis at Top Notch at Stowe as well as a 12 year stint at central Vermont's largest indoor facility.
When not helping with the NETH winter program, Dave can be found on the slopes of Sugarbush. After a one year hiatus, we're happy to welcome Dave back for his 13th year with us.

Matthew Franzen
This is Matthew's 18th year teaching tennis, his 10th year with us. He was NETH's head pro for 4 years at our previous Vermont location and has taught for us in Vero Beach. During those years he has enjoyed coaching and training many USTA teams and top juniors in Vermont.
He played his collegiate tennis at Jacksonville University and has continued to play competitively since. He is recognized as one of the top players in New England in his age group.
After 2 years away he cannot wait to be back with the NETH team to teach at Sugarbush this summer and is always ready to play golf with any campers, willing and able, after tennis. |
