Mad River Valley Chamber Of Commerce
The Mad River Valley is active Vermont; pastoral but never passive. Drive through the Mad River Valley towns of Waitsfield, Warren, Fayston, and Moretown on scenic Vermont Route 100, and you'll be struck by the classic New England landscape and architecture — a mountain ridgeline, a winding river, hillside farms, covered bridges, and steepled villages.

Fishing
The Mad River and the brooks that feed it are home to rainbow, brook, and brown trout ready to match wits with both accomplished fly fishermen and kids with worms. The Mill Brook is a kids' only fishing brook for kids aged 14 and under. Those willing to hike in to remote beaver ponds are often rewarded with a catch of native brookies.
Golf
Looking for a golf adventure? You will want to take on the 18-hole Robert Trent Jones, Sr.-designed Sugarbush golf course with its narrow fairways and breathtaking vistas. Several other public golf courses are within a 60-minute drive, making the Mad River Valley, Vermont the perfect spot for your next golf vacation.
Movies & Entertainment
Visitors and locals can come together and enjoy live theater, music, dancing, or a movie. The local movie theater shows both first run as well as independent films.
Zip Line! at Sugarbush Resort
Thrill seekers - soar through the air on the NEW 800' Sugarbush zipline. Located at Lincoln Peak, the zipline starts above the Valley House Lodge and take riders through the air to the landing pad behind the Gate House. You don’t need wings to fly!
Road & Mountain Biking
Bicyclists will find an extensive network of mountain biking trails as well as miles and miles of well-maintained two-lane blacktop. Bike rentals and a bicycle repair/work stand for the general public are available at Inverness Sports in Waitsfield and at the Sugarbush Adventure Gear Shop in Gate House at Lincoln Peak. Guided mountain biking as well as route maps are available from Mad River Riders.
